Program Description
Explore across creative writing, professional writing and communication, linguistics, English studies, and literature, becoming proficient in the communication and critical thinking skills that employers value. English majors expand their imaginations and learn how to use language to take action in the world, often moving into administrative roles on account of their ability to work with texts and information and their understanding of human experience.

Students fulfill the University's Upper Division Writing Requirement by successfully completing ENGL 331, ENGL 332,
ENGL 333, ENGL 341, or ENGL 490.
