Program Description

The Executive Master of Engineering Management degree program jointly offered by St. Cloud State University and Metropolitan State University has a rigorous and challenging curriculum suited for more experienced professionals. The EMEM program is designed specifically for Engineering Managers, Business Executives, technical practitioners, and other professionals who aspire to take up senior-level and C-suite positions. This program combines management science with technical knowledge to enhance the managerial skills needed for successful leadership roles. This program provides a unique opportunity to pursue an executive master's degree on weeknights and weekends while continuing to work full-time. This program can be completed in part-time, full-time and online modes. This ASEM certified degree is awarded by St. Cloud State University. The part-time EMEM program can be completed in 18 months and the full-time program in one year.

Admissions Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience after completion of an undergraduate degree.

  • The GRE is not required.

  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is preferred for program admission.

Program Requirements (33 credits)

Core: 30 credits: course, course, course, course, course, course, course, course, course, course.

Research and Culminating Experience: 3 credits: course or course

Notes

Program is normally completed over 18 months in a cohort basis. The program includes an international business tour. Students who are unable to tour must find an alternative project in consultation with their adviser.
