Program Description
The Exercise Science major prepares students for a variety of careers in the areas of health, fitness, and wellness. Coursework focuses on human movement science, exercise physiology, and exercise assessment program design for a variety of populations. Students completing their Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science are prepared to sit for the industry standard in certification exams through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Students in this program may also complete an M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology with only one additional year of study.
