Program Description

The BS-Technology Education program provides students with a broad base of experience in the technology education field with a professional education series of coursework that allows them to become licensed 5-12 technology education teacher in the state of Minnesota. Students in this program complete state-required testing and student teaching in order to qualify for licensure.

  • Students fulfill the University's Upper Division Writing Requirement by successfully completing course.

Notes

Student can earn a Career and Technical Education (CTE) license in one of the following areas: communications, construction, manufacturing, transportation in addition to the Technology Education license. See department for requirements. this is done by completing a minor in CTE.
